And then we rest... not sleep, rest.

Lily loves to rest. Notice I never mentioned sleep. She hates to sleep, but she loves to rest. Little tiny naps. She is a the best "power-napper" the world has ever known. Small 10-20 minute recharges and she was good to go for hours upon hours.













 

Nana and Papa come to visit.

Shortly after Lily arrived, Nana and papa came to visit from Tulsa. Lily was very happy to get all the attention of everyone.

Papa was very happy to see his little girl, and even though he could only stay for a few days, he made the most of his time with Lily.
Lily was very sad to see Nana and Papa leave, but knows they will return to San Antonio soon... (Editorial Note: They better!)

The car ride home! Karmela squints from the bright sun as she is wheeled out of the hospital and Lily experiences the "outside" for the first time. It was an extremely gorgeous day.









The ride home was so exciting!















But finally we arrived and made our way into the house.

These are some of the first pictures taken. of course I didn't have my camera for the birth. I never thought we would need it that early. But Lily has a mind of her own and a schedule of her own so, she showed up when SHE felt like it.

I personally think these things are kinda silly, but it seems to be the easiest way to get new pictures and information to you all about the smartest and cutest baby in the world.
